Operating system commands

OSC 114 Reset Pointer Background Color

Put the pointer background color back as it started.

OSC 114 ST
ECMA-48
§8.3.89 OSC – Operating System Command, p. 51
xterm
Operating System Commands

OSC 114 ST puts the color of the mouse pointer’s outline, the part of an X cursor drawn in its second color, OSC 14, back as the terminal started it, undoing any change made with OSC 14 ; Pt ST. xterm resets it to the value it started with (ResetColorsRequest).

It takes no parameter. xterm ignores an OSC 114 that carries anything after the number, OSC 114 ; 1 ST say, as a malformed sequence (do_osc); an empty one, OSC 114 ; ST, is the same as none.

libghostty-vt has no such color, and ignores OSC 14 and OSC 114, so the case that asks is a known difference.
